Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski, also known by the name Paul Wesley, is an multi-award winning actor, producer and director famous for his work in the popular television drama show The Vampire Diaries. Paul Wesley has won several accolades, such as Teen Choice Awards, Young Hollywood Awards as well as various nominations for his television part. Wesley was born in New Brunswick New Jersey and brought up in the United States, showed interest in acting in his early college days. Later on He enrolled at Rutgers University. He dropped out after realizing the extent to which could he do acting. He first appeared on The American TV show Another World. He played the role of a lead character on Wolf Lake, a CBS TV show two years after. After he took on the character of Stefan Salvatore for the American hit TV program The Vampire Diaries, his career was transformed. He directed several episodes of the series in addition. After his first appearance in the movie The Last Run he has appeared in several popular movies. His recent appearances as an actor in Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer were in support parts. On social media, he has more than 13 million followers on Instagram.
